Odor is strong for a few days.works OK on cats with no flea bite allergies.ones with allergies will still groom excessively.
I was very happy with the Ectopamine purchase. It works just as well as the chemical flea meds that are available and it is a natural product. The only thing I didn`t like about it is the odor which dissipates in about 2-3 days but still, I feel it is still worth it.

ative to chemical flea topicals such as Advantage, Frontline, etc. Scent doesn`t seem to bother pets. After one month the one application worked on our short haired cat.
Cons: It is applied the same way as the competitors-and one tube per cat is too much. It doesn`t fully absorb and made their fur greasy on the application site. The essential oils, while nice in moderation, were somewhat overwhelming to the humans in the house at that level. Ectopamine doesn`t work as well on our flea-prone long-haired cat. We have applied it twice and it`s not as effective on her. Oils in product could be a problem for those with nice fu
So, we will use less and apply Ectopamine more often - every 2 weeks or so.
