This was the exact product I was looking for. My 15 year old diabetic male would not tolerate Forta Flora no matter how I tried to discise the product. He would walk away from his favorite food if it had any in it. Even when he would finially eat the product did not seem to have the desired affect. This is the best probiotic for dogs!!! I have tried many others and nothing worked. It is excellent for dogs with allergies or weak immune systems or IBD or are old, my dog has them all. Also, if you dog has any problems with their digestive system treat them for worms. Some worms are so small that are not detected by doctor`s tests, and they attach themselves to the inte
al lining of their digestive system and eat them away! For worms I use Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) on a daily basis and Kocci Clear (for 10 days only). After I start using Proviable-DC and treated her for worms (against doctors orders), her health improved tremendously! Her stools are great and her pain is almost gone. Please make sure you know that this product is not to be used according to the company`s vet tech that I spoke with when your kitty has an acute flare up of IBD. It made my kitty`s belly bloat and he vomited even more because of irritation. The company told me to not use it in an acute flare up only after he is stable! Even my vet did not know this.
